"It's not enough that Rob Pounding runs his own restaurant–and bakery, which he started when his bread supplier left town. This spring, he presided over the grand opening of Lincoln City's Pacific Coast Center for Culinary Arts. Located on the top floor of City Hall, with a sweeping view of Cascade Head and the Pacific Ocean, the center was designed to attract the Oregon Coast's growing number of culinary tourists–those who travel in search of great food experiences. Pounding partnered with the Lincoln City Visitor and Convention Bureau to create the center, which will also offer food handler's certification and professional culinary training. "
